Doing Scrum and using Basecamp®?
Basecamp®, the project management tool from 37signals, is great for doing Scrum. In Basecamp® you can store your backlog as a set of to-do lists. Each to-do list can represent a user story and each to-do item can represent a task required to complete the user story. Once you have your backlog defined, you can schedule iterations by using milestones. Assign the to-do lists to the correct milestone, and you get a quick reminder of what tasks to work now.*
The problem comes when you need to create a burndown chart. If you're using an external tool to generate the charts (excel for example), you'll end up retyping a lot of the information you already have in Basecamp.
